Lakeview Suites

Situated on the ground floor of the lodge, the Lake View Suites offer incomparable views of Lake Karapiro and Mt Maungatautari.

Traditional timber panelled doors, ornate plaster ceilings, fine cottons and silks are combined to capture the charm, elegance and intimacy of yesteryear with the convenience of today.

Enjoy these stunning views framed with silk drapes from the comfort of your armchair. Step through the French doors to your private patio. All the bedrooms have lounge chairs with ottomans, a desk, and a luxurious Italian ensuite with massage shower. The Lake View Suites are available with either twin or king-size beds.

    Situated on the upper floor of the lodge, the Versace Suite offers dramatic views of Lake Karapiro and Mt Maungatautari from it’s huge windows and balcony.

    Sir Tristam Rooms

    Situated on the upper floor this themed suite is rich, masculine and enjoys unsurpassed views of the Lake and surrounding countryside. Studded black leather lounge suite, big-screen TV with SKY, Versace detailed bathroom with in-built bath-tub make for an enjoyable stay!

    Sir Patrick & Justine, Lady Hogan generously donated their time and artefacts to establish a themed room in honour of the mighty horse that put Cambridge on the map and brought international kudos to New Zealand horse breeding and racing. Sir Tristram's home - Cambridge Stud - is the most successful stud farm in New Zealand and in 2007 was recognised by America's Thoroughbred Times as the number 1 for stakes winners - per sires at stud - across the world.
